Residents Protest Attempted Settlement Outpost in Majd al-Krum

Residents of Majd al-Krum are expressing growing concern over an attempt to establish a settlement outpost in the Al-Rous area. A large public mobilization has been underway since yesterday to defend the town's lands. The local council and the popular committee in Majd al-Krum have declared their firm rejection of the outpost, warning that the tents and equipment set up in the area could become a permanent fixture. This development threatens citizens' land and their access to it, particularly with the olive harvest season approaching. Residents emphasized that Majd al-Krum's lands are a 'red line' and vowed that public action would continue to defend them and protect the rights of their owners. Raouf Hamoud, head of the popular committee in Majd al-Krum, spoke about the issue on Hala TV.
