Injured Dolphin Washed Ashore in Tel Aviv Returned to Sea by Civilians
An injured dolphin washed ashore at Jerusalem Beach in Tel Aviv was returned to the water by civilians, the Israel Nature and Parks Authority (INPA) reported. The authority expressed concern that the dolphin was injured and in need of assistance.
Due to the dolphin's condition, the INPA is urging the public not to attempt to return any stranded dolphins to the sea themselves. Instead, individuals who encounter such a situation are asked to contact the INPA immediately and remain with the animal until professional help arrives.
The INPA's statement emphasized the importance of proper procedure in such cases to ensure the animal receives the necessary care and to prevent further harm.
