Three Israeli Hotels Earn Top Honors at World Travel Awards

Three Israeli hotels have received prestigious accolades at the 2026 World Travel Awards, often referred to as the "Oscars of Tourism." The Carlton Tel Aviv was named Israel's Leading Hotel for 2026, a significant category in the global competition. This award was announced at a ceremony held in Dubai on September 13th. The Carlton Tel Aviv had previously won the award for Israel's Leading Business Hotel nine times, including in 2025.

Jerusalem's American Colony Hotel also achieved distinction, securing the title of Israel's Leading Boutique Hotel for the tenth time. This consistent recognition highlights the hotel's enduring presence and success in the World Travel Awards over the years. Known for its unique historical character, the American Colony Hotel in Jerusalem has hosted a diverse range of international guests, including tourists, business professionals, diplomats, and cultural figures.

In the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) sector, the David InterContinental Tel Aviv was recognized as Israel's Leading Conference Hotel for 2026, marking its fifth win in this category. The hotel boasts an extensive 3,400 square meter convention and exhibition center, along with 12 meeting rooms and a ballroom. Recently, the hotel underwent a significant renovation costing approximately 40 million shekels, which included updating 105 rooms and introducing a new Premium Terrace category.

The World Travel Awards, established in 1993, annually recognizes excellence in the global travel and hospitality industry. Winners are determined through votes cast by industry professionals and the public worldwide.
