IDF Strikes Hezbollah Sites in South Lebanon, Eight Reported Killed
The IDF said it carried out strikes overnight and again in the morning against Hezbollah terror infrastructure in several areas of southern Lebanon. According to the military spokesman, the attacks were a response to repeated violations of the ceasefire by the terror group.
At the same time, civil defense officials in southern Lebanon told Qatar's Al Jazeera that eight people were killed in an Israeli strike in the village of Kfar Harouf, in the Nabatieh area. The report did not say whether the dead were combatants or civilians.
The strikes come amid continued friction over the ceasefire, with Israel accusing Hezbollah of breaching the truce and justifying renewed attacks on its positions in the south. No further details were given about the scope of the targets or the condition of the wounded.
