Weapons Cache and Ammunition Seized in Rahat; Five Arrested

Southern District Police and security forces conducted a targeted operation in Rahat, involving units from the Sahar Brigade, Rahat Police Station, the Southern District Special Patrol Unit, the Southern Baham Unit, and the Southern Border Police. During a search of the city, officers discovered a shotgun, hundreds of rounds of ammunition, and additional weapons.

Following this discovery, two local residents were detained for questioning at the police station. In a separate operation at the entrance to Rahat, forces stopped a suspicious vehicle traveling at high speed. A search of the car and its occupants yielded a knife, a Glock 17 pistol, and ammunition. The three individuals in the vehicle, residents of Ramla, were arrested and taken, along with the car, for investigation.
