Dor Turgeman Stars in New England Revolution's Victory Over Chicago Fire

Israeli forward Dor Turgeman continued his impressive form in Major League Soccer (MLS) on Sunday night, contributing a goal and an assist to lead the New England Revolution to a 2-1 victory over the Chicago Fire. Turgeman, who has been increasingly finding his rhythm in the league, was instrumental in his team's win against a Chicago side that features Polish star Robert Lewandowski.

Turgeman opened the scoring in the 39th minute, finding himself one-on-one with the goalkeeper and slotting the ball into the far corner. Shortly after halftime, in the 47th minute, he made a strong run down the left wing and delivered a sharp cross that found teammate Peyton Miller, who tapped in for a 2-0 lead.

Chicago managed to pull one back in the 62nd minute through Myeríen Haïly-Sélassi, but Robert Lewandowski played the full 90 minutes without scoring. Turgeman was substituted in the 81st minute, replaced by his Israeli teammate Eyal Feingold. Turgeman received the highest rating among all players on the field for his performance.

This was Turgeman's seventh goal of the season and his fifth assist in 25 appearances. He was acquired from Maccabi Tel Aviv in the summer of 2025 for $4.7 million.
