Israeli Striker Dor Turgeman Scores Again as New England Draws 2-2 with Montreal

Israeli forward Dor Turgeman continues his return to form, scoring for the second consecutive game with New England Revolution in their 2-2 draw against Montreal Impact on the night between Saturday and Sunday. Despite taking a two-goal lead, New England conceded twice in the second half, missing a chance to close the gap on the top two spots in the Eastern Conference.

The match started well for New England, who were awarded a penalty in the 30th minute, converted by Carles Gil to make it 1-0. Turgeman missed a close chance shortly after but redeemed himself in the 36th minute by tapping in a cross to double the lead. Following his goal, Turgeman and teammates defiantly celebrated in front of the home crowd, which responded with chants of "Death to Israel." Montreal's goalkeeper intervened to separate the players, and the game resumed.

Montreal quickly fought back in the second half, with Bryan Ramirez scoring in the 52nd minute and Prince-Osei Owusu completing the comeback seven minutes later. Neither team scored again, resulting in a shared point. For Turgeman, the match marked a positive step with his second straight goal, while New England was left frustrated after squandering a promising advantage.
