Israeli Players See Mixed Results in MLS Action
Several Israeli soccer players participated in Major League Soccer (MLS) games over the weekend, with varying degrees of success. Former Maccabi Tel Aviv striker Dor Turgeman played 79 minutes for the New England Revolution in their 2-1 loss to LA Galaxy. He was substituted by Wilson Harris, a former Maccabi Netanya player. In the same match, Eilai Feingold came off the bench for the Revolution and played six minutes.
In another game, Charlotte FC's Liel Abada played 70 minutes and Idan Toklomati played 75 minutes in their 0-0 home draw against Houston Dynamo. Meanwhile, FC Dallas secured a dramatic 4-3 victory over Kansas City, with Ran Beniamin playing the final 15 minutes and Or Belorayan playing the full 90 minutes.
The match involving DC United and Cincinnati was postponed due to severe weather conditions, which rendered the pitch unplayable. Thai Baribo was expected to play in this game but was unable to due to the postponement.
