Israeli Players Tai Baribo and Dor Turgeman Score Again in MLS Matches

Israeli forwards Tai Baribo and Dor Turgeman continued their strong form in Major League Soccer during matches held overnight from Saturday to Sunday. Baribo scored his fourth consecutive goal for DC United, helping the team come back from a 2-0 deficit to draw 2-2 against Nashville FC. His goal came in the 77th minute following an assist from Romanian player Louis Munteanu. Baribo has now scored 11 goals in 16 games, ranking fifth in the MLS scoring chart, just one behind Lionel Messi. DC United stands ninth in the Eastern Conference with 23 points after 18 rounds.

Dor Turgeman also found the net for the second consecutive game, finishing a close-range shot off a cross from Payton Miller to put the New England Revolution up 2-0 against Montreal. Despite Montreal leveling the score at 2-2, New England remains third in the Eastern Conference with 30 points. Turgeman was substituted in the 73rd minute, and teammate Eyal Feingold did not play due to injury.

In contrast, Israeli players Liel Abada and Idan Toklomati, playing for Charlotte FC, did not score in their 2-1 loss to Chicago Fire, which featured a brace from Robert Lewandowski. Toklomati did assist Charlotte's opening goal. Charlotte is currently seventh in the Eastern Conference with 25 points.
