Israeli Soccer Stars Shine in MLS with Multiple Goals and Assists

Four Israeli soccer players made significant contributions in Major League Soccer (MLS) matches played between Tuesday and Wednesday. Tai Barada, playing for D.C. United, scored a brace in the 24th and 38th minutes, leading his team to a 2-1 victory over Columbus Crew. This brings Barada's season total to 14 goals, and his team is now two points away from a playoff spot.

In another match, Liel Abada scored a spectacular goal in the 37th minute for Charlotte FC, and substitute Idan Toklomati scored the winning goal in the 81st minute, securing a 2-1 comeback win against CF Montréal. The match reportedly saw Montréal fans directing abuse at Dor Turgeman, an Israeli player for New York City FC, due to his background after a previous goal against them.

Dor Turgeman started for New York City FC and played 71 minutes in their 2-1 loss to New England Revolution. However, fellow Israeli Eyal Pinhas, a former Maccabi Haifa player, came off the bench in the 72nd minute and provided the assist for the winning goal. New England Revolution is currently third in the Eastern Conference with 40 points.

Ran Benjamin also started for Dallas in their 2-1 win against Minnesota United, playing his first career game as a right-back before being substituted in the 77th minute. Dallas is also third in the Western Conference with 40 points.
