Israir Launches New York Flights, Price Drops Expected by 2027

Israir is set to launch its inaugural direct flight from Tel Aviv to New York on September 15, becoming the fifth airline to operate on this popular route. The airline joins existing carriers El Al, Arkia, Delta, and United. However, travelers planning to fly during the upcoming holiday season will likely face high prices due to strong demand, with some tickets potentially costing $1,500 or more per person.

For those flexible with travel dates, the period from January through spring offers the most attractive pricing. While January and February can be cold in New York, ticket prices tend to be lower. March sees improving weather, and some dates still feature tickets under $1,000.
