Oldest Holocaust Survivor in Israel, 107, Passes Away
Rabbi Yehuda Aharon Vydavsky, believed to be the oldest Holocaust survivor in Israel, passed away at the age of 107. A prominent figure among the Chassidic communities of Sochaczew and Modzhitz, Rabbi Vydavsky survived the Auschwitz concentration camp during the Holocaust.
Following the war, he dedicated his life to restoring and maintaining Jewish cemeteries and holy sites in Poland. He was also closely involved in the revival of Chassidic life after the war.
Rabbi Vydavsky leaves behind a large and blessed family, continuing his legacy. His passing marks the end of an era for the Chassidic world and Holocaust survivors in Israel.
