Sources close to the player confirmed Haifa's interest, stating Paal wishes to leave Turkey after not featuring in any matches this season. Paal, who previously played in the Dutch Eredivisie and the English Championship, is also familiar with Maccabi Haifa midfielder Tjaronn Chery, having played with him on the Suriname national team.
