Israeli Stars Abada and Toklomati Score in Thrilling 3-3 MLS Draw

Israeli footballers Liel Abada and Idan Toklomati both found the back of the net in a dramatic 3-3 tie between Charlotte FC and FC Cincinnati in Major League Soccer action. The match, which took place between Saturday and Sunday, saw both Israeli players contribute significantly to their team's offensive efforts.

Abada opened his scoring account for the new year in the fifth minute, skillfully chipping the ball over the goalkeeper after a cross deflected off a defender. This goal leveled the score at 1-1 and marked his third goal in his last four appearances. He was substituted just before halftime due to a minor leg injury, which he described as a bruise expected to heal within days.

Toklomati continued the Israeli scoring trend in the second half. After FC Cincinnati had equalized, he scored a crucial header in the 51st minute to restore Charlotte's lead at 3-2. This goal was his fourth in his last six games and ninth of the season overall. He was substituted in the 78th minute, and unfortunately for Charlotte, Cincinnati managed to equalize again in stoppage time.

In other MLS news, Ran Benyamin started for FC Dallas in their 2-1 victory over Portland Timbers, playing 63 minutes before being substituted. Additionally, Tai Baribo played the full 90 minutes for D.C. United in their 0-0 draw against Atlanta United, but did not score.
