Israeli Stars Toklomati and Abada Score in Charlotte's 3-3 MLS Draw
Israeli footballers Idan Toklomati and Liel Abada both scored for Charlotte FC in their dramatic 3-3 draw against FC Cincinnati in Major League Soccer on Saturday night. Abada equalized for Charlotte in the 10th minute after Cincinnati had taken an early lead, scoring his third goal in four games. He was substituted just before halftime due to a minor leg injury but is expected to recover quickly.
Toklomati then put Charlotte back in front in the 51st minute with a header, marking his ninth goal of the season and fourth in his last six appearances. However, Cincinnati managed to equalize again in second-half stoppage time, securing the 3-3 draw.
In other MLS action, Ran Benjamin played 63 minutes for FC Dallas in their 2-1 victory over the Portland Timbers, and Thai Baribo played the full 90 minutes for D.C. United in their 0-0 draw with Atlanta United.
Both Toklomati and Abada have been in strong form recently, continuing their successful runs into the new year.
