Israeli singer Eden Golan has released her debut album, "Imperfections," and secured a distribution agreement in the United States with Hitmaker. The American company has been involved in promoting numerous songs that have charted on the Billboard Hot 100.

The contract was signed with Charlie Greenberg, who was recognized on Billboard's Hip Hop Power Players list in 2023. Greenberg also founded the marketing agency 740 Project, which has worked with artists such as Travis Scott and Megan Thee Stallion. Previously, 740 Project partnered with Ithaca Holdings, managed by Scooter Braun.

"Imperfections," released on September 10, features 11 tracks entirely in English. Israeli musician Johnny Goldstein, known for his work with Shakira and David Guetta, produced the album. Golan told Rolling Stone that she recorded parts of the album in Los Angeles and chose English because it is the language she thinks, reads, and writes in, and through which she feels most able to express herself.

Golan stated that much of the album draws from her personal experiences, including difficult relationships. She explained that the recording process allowed her to explore themes of vulnerability, self-worth, and emotional dependence.

Golan represented Israel at Eurovision 2024 in Malmö, where she finished fifth with the song "Hurricane." In her interview with Rolling Stone, she reflected on the protests and booing she faced during the competition, expressing pride that she endured the pressure and performed.
