Ex-Maccabi Tel Aviv Player Andrade Faces Suspension in Brazil
Former Maccabi Tel Aviv midfielder, Kervin Andrade, will begin his tenure with Brazilian club Sport Recife serving a suspension carried over from his time in Israel. Andrade received a seven-game ban following events during the State Cup final, where Maccabi Tel Aviv defeated Hapoel Be'er Sheva 2-1. Three games of this suspension remain, which will be enforced in Brazil, delaying his debut for Sport Recife.
Consequently, Sport Recife is reportedly not covering Andrade's costs or salary during this suspension period. According to Brazilian media reports, the club will only begin paying him once he is eligible to play, which will be in three weeks. Andrade's stint with Maccabi Tel Aviv was described as unsuccessful, and he is now embarking on a new chapter in his career.
