Maccabi Tel Aviv Winger Andrade Nears Loan Move to Brazil's Sport Recife
Venezuelan winger Kravin Andrade is reportedly on the verge of completing a loan move from Maccabi Tel Aviv to Brazilian club Sport Recife. Brazilian media outlets suggest the transfer will be finalized within hours, before the local transfer window closes on Friday. Andrade has already been removed from Maccabi Tel Aviv's squad, allowing the club to register James Tavernier for their upcoming match against Hapoel Be'er Sheva.
Andrade is expected to be Sport Recife's 13th signing of the summer, a move described by Brazilian commentators as completing a "revolution" for the club. He is seen as an attacking player capable of playing on either wing, precisely what Recife needs. The loan deal is reportedly set to run until the end of the season, with an option for Sport Recife to purchase 60% of his contract for €2 million at the end of the loan period. His estimated value is €3.3 million.
Sport Recife reportedly consulted Andrade's former coach in Brazil, Juan Pablo Vojvoda, who provided positive feedback. The club, aiming for promotion back to the top tier of Brazilian football, sees Andrade as a key addition to manager Mariano Soso's plans.
