Lebanon-Israel Maritime Talks Postponed to October
The next round of maritime border negotiations between Lebanon and Israel, originally scheduled for next week in Rome, has been postponed until October, Axios reported Friday, citing a US official. The delay is attributed to the Jewish holidays, the Paris Conference, and preparations for the UN General Assembly, which prevented participants from meeting in Rome. Axios added that the Lebanese and Israeli ambassadors in Washington are expected to meet.
