Israeli Soccer Player Or Beloryan Undergoes Successful Angioplasty
Or Beloryan, a defender for Sporting Kansas City and the Israeli national team, successfully underwent a cardiac catheterization procedure after feeling unwell in recent days. The 26-year-old experienced dizziness, including during his team's last match against Dallas. Following the procedure, Beloryan is expected to be released from the hospital on Saturday.
According to protocol, he will be able to resume contact training in three months. A source close to Beloryan stated, "It was a great miracle. He needs to recite the blessing of thanksgiving. Or received his life as a gift."
Beloryan, a product of the Maccabi Petah Tikva youth academy, played for the club for three years before moving to Hapoel Be'er Sheva in the summer of 2022. He was loaned to Hapoel Tel Aviv for one season. Last season, he became a key player for Be'er Sheva, contributing to their first championship in eight years. At the end of the season, he transferred to Sporting Kansas City in Major League Soccer (MLS), where he has made seven league appearances this season. Beloryan has also earned four caps for the Israeli national team.
