New Ashdod Stadium Nears Completion with 20,000 Seats Installed
The new stadium in Ashdod is in its final stages of construction, with the installation of 20,000 seats now complete. The only remaining task is the laying of the turf.
Once finished, the stadium will become the fourth largest in Israel, following Teddy Stadium, Sammy Ofer Stadium, and Bloomfield Stadium. It is being built to meet stringent UEFA standards, emphasizing high-quality viewing experiences and innovation.
The project is being carried out by Ken HaTor Engineering and Construction. Gal Ruach is leading the on-site execution and project management, overseeing various work streams, coordinating subcontractors, and accelerating the timeline while maintaining high quality for the stadium's handover.
