Tens of Thousands Attend Final Selichot Prayers at Western Wall

Over 50,000 worshippers gathered at the Western Wall Plaza in Jerusalem for the central Selichot (penitential prayers) service on the eve of Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year. The massive crowd, which filled the plaza and surrounding areas, came from across Israel to participate in one of the most significant events of the High Holy Days period.

The service took place in a festive pre-holiday atmosphere, with tens of thousands reciting traditional Selichot poems and prayers together as they prepared for the new year. This event marked the conclusion of the Selichot services held throughout the month of Elul.
