Eyal Golasa Returns to Youth Club as Football School Director

Former Israeli international footballer Eyal Golasa, who recently announced his retirement from professional play, has taken on a new role as the director of the football school at Beitar Tubruk Netanya, the club where he began his youth career. Golasa, who had a distinguished career playing for top Israeli clubs like Maccabi Haifa and Maccabi Tel Aviv, as well as Greece's PAOK Thessaloniki, expressed his excitement about returning to his roots.

"I came here as a small child with a dream, I went through a long and exciting journey," Golasa stated. "It's time to come home, I've returned to Tubruk." The club hailed his appointment as a significant step for the future of its young players, calling Golasa a "classic Tubruk success story."

Golasa's career included multiple Israeli league championships, a state cup, and appearances in the Champions League and Europa League. He also earned 17 caps for the Israeli national team. After retiring from playing, his transition to coaching and youth development marks a new chapter in his connection with the sport.

The club's statement highlighted Golasa's leadership, professionalism, and high-level experience gained throughout his extensive career in Israel and Europe. His new position aims to leverage this experience to nurture the next generation of footballers at Beitar Tubruk.
