IDF Destroys Hezbollah Infrastructure in Southern Lebanon, Completing Security Zone
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have destroyed Hezbollah's underground infrastructure on the Ali Taher ridge in southern Lebanon, completing the establishment of a security zone in the area. This action, carried out under the direction of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz, targeted strategic terror infrastructure built over two decades with Iranian funding and planning.
The destroyed infrastructure and command center were intended to serve as a base for Hezbollah to conquer the Galilee region and control observation and fire over the Israeli towns of Metula and Kiryat Shmona.
