IDF Strikes Southern Lebanon After Rockets Fired
The Israeli military conducted airstrikes in southern Lebanon late Tuesday, targeting areas between the towns of Khiam and Marjayoun. The strikes followed rocket fire originating from Lebanese territory.
Earlier, additional strikes were reported in the village of al-Mansouri in the western sector of southern Lebanon. Details regarding the targets and any potential casualties from these strikes were not immediately available.
The exchange of fire comes amid heightened tensions in the region. The Lebanese Hezbollah group and the Israeli military have been engaged in cross-border hostilities since the onset of the Gaza conflict in October.
