Iran Resumes Ballistic Missile Production in Underground Facilities

Iran has reportedly resumed the production of ballistic missiles within its underground facilities, according to a report by The Wall Street Journal citing U.S. and Middle Eastern sources. The report indicates that Iran is utilizing pre-accumulated components for this renewed production. Currently, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps is primarily assembling new missiles from existing parts, albeit in more limited quantities.

This development follows a separate report from earlier on Thursday, where the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) detected new construction and movement around a fortified underground complex in Iran known as "Mount Machus." IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi stated in a Bloomberg interview that while there are signs of activity, the agency lacks concrete information about the nature of the work being conducted inside the tunnel complex, as inspectors have not yet been granted access. Grossi clarified that these findings are based on remotely reviewed satellite imagery, not on-site physical inspections.
