Maccabi Tel Aviv Negotiates Signing Metz Winger Morgan Boukaka
Israeli football club Maccabi Tel Aviv is reportedly in negotiations to sign Morgan Boukaka, a 22-year-old Cameroonian winger from French second-division club FC Metz. Boukaka, who can play on either wing and other attacking positions, has a contract with Metz until 2028 and is valued at approximately 900,000 euros.
Boukaka began last season with Metz in the top French league, making 10 appearances. He was then loaned to Dunkerque in the winter, where he scored one goal and provided one assist in 12 games. This season, he has played only 8 minutes for Metz in the second division.
His best season to date was 2024/25, when he played 28 times for Metz in Ligue 2, starting 7 matches, and contributed 3 goals and 2 assists. Boukaka is known for his speed.
The transfer window remains open for another week, and Maccabi Tel Aviv is actively pursuing this potential acquisition.
