New Poll Shows Tie Between Likud and Yisrael Beitenu Ahead of Elections

A new poll conducted by political consultant Yossi Tatika, in collaboration with the Adgenda panel led by Roey Schindler, reveals a tie between the Likud party and Yisrael Beitenu, led by Gadi Eisenkot, each securing 23 Knesset seats. This marks the first survey released since the candidate lists for the 26th Knesset elections were finalized.

Naftali Bennett's party, Bayit Yehudi, maintains its position as the third-largest party with 15 seats for the second consecutive week. Within the current coalition bloc, Shas has strengthened to 10 seats after weeks of stagnation. However, this gain for Shas and the Likud comes at the expense of Otzma Yehudit, which drops to 6 seats, and the Religious Zionism party, now at 4 seats.

Notably, the "Am Israel" party, led by Ofer Winter, and the "Reserve Duty" party, headed by Yoaz Hendel and Prof. Yaron Ze'ev, along with Benny Gantz's National Unity party, all fall below the electoral threshold. Consequently, the "change bloc" currently holds 56 mandates, while the "coalition bloc" has 52.

The survey also inquired about satisfaction with the submitted candidate lists. Overall, 74% of respondents expressed satisfaction. Among Yisrael Beitenu voters, 85% were satisfied, and 81% of Likud voters reported satisfaction with their respective party lists.

The poll was conducted on September 9-10, 2026, with 500 Jewish and Arab respondents. The maximum margin of error is 4.4%. The survey was stratified by age, religion, gender, and region.
