Israel's Beaches Offer Warm Weather, Few Jellyfish This Weekend

This weekend, September 10-12, coastal areas in Israel will experience hot weather with very warm water temperatures. Jellyfish sightings near the Mediterranean coast are minimal, and those present are generally not dangerous. Lifeguards will be on duty at official beaches, and the public is reminded that swimming at unguarded beaches is prohibited, a rule often ignored. Sunbathers are advised against prolonged exposure and should use sunscreen. Daytime temperatures along the Mediterranean coast will reach 31-32 degrees Celsius, with water temperatures at 31 degrees Celsius and wave heights up to 1 meter. In Eilat, daytime temperatures will be higher, between 38-39 degrees Celsius, with water temperatures at 28 degrees Celsius and waves up to 0.5 meters, though occasional choppier conditions are possible. On the shores of the Sea of Galilee (Kinneret), daytime temperatures will be 35-36 degrees Celsius, with water at 32 degrees Celsius and waves up to 0.6 meters. The Dead Sea will see daytime temperatures of 36 degrees Celsius, with water at 31 degrees Celsius and waves up to 0.5 meters.
