Lexus Israel CEO Dror Gornik to Transition to New Leadership Roles
Union Motors Group has announced a series of significant promotions and appointments within its ranks. Dror Gornik, after 21 years with the group, will step down as CEO of Lexus Israel. He is set to assume the positions of Chairman of Union Mobility and Chairman of Union Industrial Vehicles, while also retaining his role as a permanent member of the board of directors for Union Group's automotive division.
Effective January 1, 2027, Itai Hayoun Levin will succeed Gornik as the CEO of Lexus Israel. Dor Finkel will be appointed as the Vice President of Sales and Product for Toyota Israel, and Aryeh Leib will become the CEO of Union Mobility. These appointments mark a significant shift in the leadership structure of the automotive group.
During Gornik's tenure as CEO, Lexus Israel became the second-largest luxury brand in terms of sales volume in the country, and its sales and service network doubled. Gornik has held various senior management positions within Toyota and Lexus over his two decades with the company. Itai Hayoun Levin, who has been with Union Motors for over 13 years, previously served as the Vice President of Sales and Product for Toyota Israel, overseeing model expansion and dealer network upgrades. Dor Finkel, with 14 years at the group, led Union Mobility, the group's leasing company, to significant growth. Aryeh Leib, a decade-long veteran, previously managed the service, technical, and spare parts division for Toyota Israel.
Andrew Horesh, CEO of Union Motors and Chairman of Lexus Israel, expressed gratitude to Gornik for his substantial contributions, highlighting his instrumental role in Lexus's growth and its establishment as a leader in customer service. Horesh also conveyed confidence in the incoming leadership trio, emphasizing their experience and capabilities to drive the group's continued growth and development.
