The number 26, representing the atomic number of iron, was chosen to symbolize strength and resilience. According to the company, the name change signifies its growth in the American market and reinforces its commitment to supporting U.S. forces wherever they operate. The subsidiary employs 3,300 people at its Texas headquarters.
Twenty-Six Defense supplies night vision systems to the U.S. Air Force and surveillance equipment to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection agency, among other products.
