Elbit Secures $370 Million US Homeland Security Contracts Through American Subsidiary

Elbit Systems announced on Monday that its American subsidiary, Elbit America, has won several contracts worth a total of $370 million from the U.S. Customs and Border Protection agency. These contracts involve supplying systems to enhance U.S. national security through May 2029. The announcement coincides with the opening of Elbit UK's exhibition at the Farnborough International Airshow 2026 in Hampshire, England, which runs until Friday.

Elbit UK (ESUK), a British subsidiary employing over 650 skilled professionals across 15 sites, has provided advanced defense and sovereignty technologies to the British armed forces for more than two decades. ESUK offers a broad portfolio of advanced defense solutions, including synthetic training systems to prepare military personnel for modern operational needs. It also supplies advanced unmanned aerial systems (UAS) such as Thor and Magni-X, enhancing intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities.

ESUK is a key partner in the Royal Navy's Maritime Electronic Warfare System Integrated Capability (MEWSIC) program, delivering next-generation electronic warfare systems for frontline naval vessels. At Farnborough, ESUK is showcasing its air domain capabilities, including the X-Sight Helmet Mounted Display, which improves helicopter pilot safety by providing enhanced situational awareness through a wide field of view and integrated sensor data.

Additional exhibits include pilot training and mission rehearsal solutions, air self-defense systems with electronic warfare capabilities to improve survivability in complex threat environments, and Elbit's laser technologies. Following the acquisition of U-TacS earlier this year, ESUK will also present its plans for this company, which serves as a UK-based manufacturing hub for unmanned aerial systems, focusing on autonomous long-endurance capabilities.
