Elbit Systems Secures $270 Million International Deal for Advanced Surveillance Systems

Elbit Systems announced Tuesday it has signed contracts with an international client worth approximately $270 million for advanced electro-optical observation, intelligence gathering, and targeting systems. The deal, which will be executed over up to six years, involves the supply of systems from the SPECTRO family.

These SPECTRO systems provide multi-spectral ISTAR (Intelligence, Surveillance, Target Acquisition, and Reconnaissance) capabilities. They integrate medium-wave infrared (MWIR), visible light, and short-wave infrared (SWIR) sensors, along with advanced laser designators and AI-based analytics. The systems are designed for long-range observation and targeting, suitable for aerial, maritime, and ground applications, and can operate day and night in challenging weather conditions.

Additionally, Elbit Systems will supply the AMPS NG systems, also from the SPECTRO family, specifically for airborne ISTAR missions. These systems offer extended-range target detection, tracking, and location capabilities, utilizing MWIR, visible light, and SWIR sensors, advanced image processing, and precise targeting technologies.
