Elbit Systems Wins Over $370 Million US Border Security Contracts Through 2029

Elbit Systems America has secured contracts exceeding $370 million from the U.S. Customs and Border Protection agency to supply and install digital continental network equipment for border defense. The deliveries and installations are scheduled to continue through May 2029. Although the company did not disclose the exact scope of the contracts, it is known for producing various sensors and surveillance equipment for border security.

Elbit Systems already plays a significant role in securing the U.S.-Mexico border through its "Smart Border" project, under which it has built and operates dozens of electronic observation towers, radars, and drones in Arizona. These systems provide real-time monitoring and intelligence to the U.S. Border Patrol.

Elbit Systems President and CEO Bezhalel (Butzi) Machlis emphasized the importance of these new contracts, stating they demonstrate Elbit America's ongoing contribution to enhancing U.S. security and defense capabilities. He highlighted the advanced, operationally proven technologies designed to deliver reliable situational awareness and assist clients in managing complex operational challenges.
