Hapoel Haifa Confirms Striker Alon Turgeman to Stay Through Season
Hapoel Haifa announced on Wednesday evening that their leading striker, Alon Turgeman, will remain with the club at least until the end of the current season. This decision comes amid reported interest from Maccabi Tel Aviv, the current cup holders.
The club, referred to as the "Reds from the Carmel," expressed gratitude for Turgeman's contributions, stating, "Thank you for all the goals and exciting moments. And those that await us." Owner Yoav Katz emphasized Turgeman's value, calling him a "great striker and an even greater person" and expressing confidence in a "special" upcoming season with him.
