Maccabi Tel Aviv Eyes Veteran Striker Alon Turgeman
Maccabi Tel Aviv is reportedly interested in signing Alon Turgeman, the veteran 35-year-old striker currently playing for Hapoel Haifa. Turgeman, who has previously played for Maccabi Haifa and Hapoel Tel Aviv, has had a strong start to the current season, scoring two goals in the first three matches, including a notable goal against Hapoel Be'er Sheva.
If the transfer materializes, it would mark Turgeman's sixth stint in the Israeli Premier League, having also played for Hapoel Petah Tikva, Bnei Yehuda, and Hapoel Be'er Sheva. His career also includes spells in Europe with Austria Wien and Wisla Krakow, and two appearances for the Israeli national team.
Maccabi Tel Aviv is actively seeking an Israeli striker to bolster their squad. The team currently has two senior strikers, Ester Sukler and Elad Madmon. Additionally, the club is pursuing reinforcements at right winger and center-back positions.
