Ariel MDA Volunteers Distribute Food Baskets to Needy Families
Youth and adult volunteers from the Magen David Adom (MDA) station in Ariel, in cooperation with the Department of Social Services of the Ariel Municipality, concluded a large-scale operation this week to collect and distribute food to low-income families in the city ahead of the holiday season. Over the past few weeks, station volunteers organized a collection drive, receiving donations of hundreds of basic food items from city residents. After sorting and packaging, the food baskets were directly distributed to 22 families known to and supported by the municipal welfare teams, aiming to ease their burden during the holidays. The Ariel Municipality praised the annual mobilization of the MDA teams and thanked the young and adult volunteers for their spirit of giving and ongoing social involvement, which they stated is a clear expression of mutual responsibility and community resilience in the city.
