Magen David Adom Launches New Ambulance and 45 Defibrillators for Kfar Chabad Volunteers

Magen David Adom (MDA) recently inaugurated a new ambulance dedicated to the volunteer emergency responders of MDA-Hatzalah Kfar Chabad and surrounding villages. The ambulance will operate from the MDA station in the moshav Yagel and is the sixth ambulance serving the Shdud Dan regional settlements. This addition aims to enhance emergency medical services in the area by improving response times and providing faster, more effective care for injuries, illnesses, and urgent medical events.

During the inauguration ceremony held in Kfar Chabad, 45 advanced defibrillators were also distributed among the volunteer responders. These devices will expand the availability of critical life-saving equipment in the field, strengthening the volunteers' ability to deliver advanced medical treatment promptly. The volunteers, who serve around the clock with dedication, view this new equipment as a significant force multiplier for their lifesaving mission.

Gili Mushkovitz, MDA's Deputy Operations Director, emphasized the organization's ongoing efforts to bolster emergency medical services nationwide through expanding ambulance fleets, equipping responders with advanced medical tools, and empowering volunteers. He stated that the new ambulance and defibrillators will enable volunteers to provide faster, more professional care and improve service quality for local residents.

The MDA-Hatzalah Kfar Chabad and villages volunteers operate within MDA's national rescue framework, adhering to strict religious guidelines. This initiative is part of MDA's broader strategy to strengthen emergency medical response capabilities across Israel, ensuring rapid, professional, and accessible care for communities in need.
