Police Seize Smuggled Cigarettes Worth NIS 80,000 in Northern Israel
Police officers from the Iron Station conducted an operation in the Bar'ta area, leading to the discovery of a truck suspected of transporting smuggled goods. Upon unloading the vehicle, officers found six boxes containing a total of 360 packages of cigarettes, believed to be smuggled.
The estimated value of the seized cigarettes is approximately NIS 80,000. The contraband was confiscated at the scene, and the case has been transferred to customs authorities for further investigation.
