Three Youths Arrested in Nazareth for Double Murder

Israeli police arrested three young men, aged 21 to 23, in the city of Nazareth on Wednesday morning. They are suspected of involvement in a double murder that occurred in the city last week, resulting in the deaths of Nour Nafaa and Nour El-Din Helou. The police stated that the central "Yamar" unit in the Northern District conducted a swift investigation, leading to the apprehension of the three suspects.

Initial investigations indicate the crime took place on the evening of September 2nd, when unknown assailants opened fire on a vehicle in Nazareth, killing both Nafaa and Helou. Following the incident, significant police forces secured the crime scene, collected evidence, and began investigating the circumstances, with the Northern District's central unit taking over the case.

Police suspect the motive behind the killings is a dispute between local gangs and criminal organizations. The police are expected to request an extension of the three youths' detention from the Nazareth Magistrate's Court on Wednesday to continue their investigation.
