Police Arrest Three Suspects in Nazareth Double Murder

Israeli police have arrested three suspects, all residents of Nazareth aged 21 to 23, in connection with a double murder that occurred in the city last week. The victims were identified as Noor Nafaa and Noor Helou. Police received a report on the evening of September 2nd about a shooting targeting a vehicle in Nazareth, which resulted in the deaths of Nafaa and Helou. Following the incident, a large police force arrived at the scene and launched an investigation. The Central Unit of the Northern District, known as 'Yamar,' took over the case. Police announced that the investigation has now moved to its public phase with the arrests. Initial investigations suggest the motive behind the killings is linked to a dispute between local criminal gangs. Police are expected to request an extension of the suspects' detention from the Nazareth-Nof HaGalil Magistrate's Court on Monday.
