Three Nazareth Youths Arrested in Double Murder Investigation
Police announced Wednesday the arrest of three young men from Nazareth in connection with the September 2, 2026, double murder of Noor Nafaa and Noor Helou. The victims were killed when their vehicle was shot at in Nazareth. Following the incident, a large police force arrived at the scene and launched an investigation, which was subsequently assigned to the Northern District's Central Unit (Yamar).
During the night, as the investigation moved to its public phase, the three suspects, aged 21, 21, and 23, all residents of Nazareth, were apprehended. Police suspect the motive behind the killings is linked to a dispute between local criminal gangs and organizations.
Based on the investigation's findings, the prosecuting unit is expected to request an extension of the suspects' detention from the Nazareth Magistrate's Court on Wednesday morning.
