Three Arrested in Nazareth Double Murder Investigation
Three Nazareth residents were arrested overnight between Tuesday and Wednesday on suspicion of involvement in the double murder that occurred in the city on September 2nd. The suspects are two 21-year-olds and a 23-year-old.
On the evening of September 2nd, police received a report of a shooting targeting a vehicle in Nazareth. The incident resulted in the deaths of Noor Nafaa and Noor Aldin Khilo. Following the report, a large police force arrived at the scene and launched an investigation into the circumstances of the event. After an assessment, the investigation was assigned to the Northern District's Central Unit.
With the investigation now made public, the three suspects were arrested. Authorities suspect the motive behind the killings is a dispute between local gangs and criminal organizations. Based on the investigation's findings, the police unit is expected to request an extension of the suspects' detention at the Nazareth-Nof HaGalil Magistrate Court on Wednesday morning.
