38 Parties Submit Knesset Election Candidacies

The deadline for submitting candidate lists for the 26th Knesset elections passed last night, with the Central Elections Committee receiving submissions from 38 parties over two days. The committee, chaired by Judge Noam Sohlberg, will now review the submitted lists and their requested party symbols according to legal requirements. The process of submitting candidacies does not constitute their approval. Among the parties that submitted their lists were "Yachad" led by Gadi Eisenkot, "Likud" led by Benjamin Netanyahu, "Yamina" led by Naftali Bennett, "Yisrael Beiteinu" led by Avigdor Lieberman, "HaDemocratim" led by Yair Golan, "HaTzionut HaDatit" led by Bezalel Smotrich, "Otzma Yehudit" led by Itamar Ben-Gvir, "Shas" led by Aryeh Deri, "Yahadut HaTorah" led by Yaakov Asher, the Joint List led by Yosef Jabareen, and the United Arab List led by Mansour Abbas. Other parties included "Amcha Israel" led by Ofer Winter, "HaMiloimnikim" led by Yoaz Hendel, "Kahol Lavan" led by Benny Gantz, and numerous smaller factions and new parties such as "Sharshur, For Love and Unity," "Partnership for All" led by Talal Suleiman Al-Qrinawi, "HaPiratim, The Pirates," "Yisrael Tze'ira," "Gan Eden," "Kol Hanashim, Voice of Women," "Ma'an Nitzach" led by Avi Shaked, "Mishpat Tzedek," "Shema" led by Naftali Goldman, "Seder Hadash, New Order," "HaTzibur HaHaredi," "Ani Ve'ata, The People's Party of Israel," "Brit Olam," "HaTikkun," "Gush HaTanachi," "Bitachon Ha'ir," "Orot HaShachar," "Bitachon Ishi," "Tzeva Shahor," "Achai Movement," "Tzomet," "Tehiya," "HaKehal," and "Noam Israel."
