Foreign Worker Critically Injured by Falling Object at Jerusalem Construction Site
A foreign worker, approximately 30 years old, sustained critical injuries on Wednesday after being struck by a heavy object at a construction site on Professor Mendi Rodin Street in Jerusalem. Emergency medical teams from Magen David Adom (MDA) provided immediate treatment, including bandaging, hemorrhage control, and pain medication. The worker was then transported by a mobile intensive care unit to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in serious condition, suffering from trauma to his lower body.
An MDA paramedic, Haki Har Kesef, described the scene, stating, "We were led at the construction site to the worker who was lying conscious with a severe injury to his lower body. We provided him with medical treatment including bandaging, stopping bleeding, and administering pain relief medication, and evacuated him in an MDA mobile intensive care unit to the hospital with his condition serious."
