US Ambassador and Knesset Speaker Jam Together at US Embassy Event
U.S. Ambassador to Israel, Mikey Harבי, and Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana performed together at a special event in Jerusalem hosted by the U.S. Embassy to mark the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States. The duo played a selection of American music hits for the audience, which included public figures, senior politicians, and representatives from militaries worldwide, the IDF, and the Israel Police.
Ambassador Harבי addressed the crowd, stating he was on stage primarily because he was enjoying himself. He then invited attendees to stand and dance along to the music. The audience responded enthusiastically, and the Ambassador and Speaker continued their performance of American hits.
This is not the first time Harבי and Ohana have played music together. The event, organized by the U.S. Embassy in Israel, celebrated the upcoming U.S. bicentennial.
