Orit Struk Takes Third Place in Religious Zionism Party Knesset List

The Religious Zionism party submitted its Knesset list for the upcoming elections, placing Minister Orit Struk in the third position. The list is headed by party leader Bezalel Smotrich, followed by Moshe Feiglin in the second spot as per an agreement between the parties. The reshuffling has caused significant shifts for incumbent Knesset members, with Ohad Tal being pushed back to the 12th position, considered unlikely to secure a seat. Zvi Sukkot, chairman of the Education Committee, is placed seventh, a position with a reasonable chance of entry if the current coalition forms the next government.

Ohad Tal commented on his new placement, stating, "Despite the personal price, I fully support the party chairman, Minister Smotrich, and stand firmly behind him. I hope these moves will strengthen the party and the entire national camp, diversify the list, allow us to appeal to new audiences, and bring in as many votes as possible for the right." He added that the changes were made "responsibly to unite the national camp."

Minister Smotrich also announced the addition of new candidates to the list, including retired Lieutenant Colonel Itamar Itam, a former combat commander who was severely wounded in Gaza and Lebanon, and Reut Ben Haim, a social activist and founder of the "Tzav 9" movement.
