Religious Zionism Party Elects Smotrich to Lead Knesset List
The Religious Zionism party announced the results of its internal primary elections for the upcoming Knesset elections on Sunday evening. The party chairman and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich secured the top spot on the list. Following him are Minister Orit Strook, Constitution Committee Chair Simcha Rothman, and Member of Knesset Tzvi Sukkot.
The list continues with Ohad Tal in fifth place, Omar Rahamim sixth, Michal Waldiger seventh, Shmuel Sasson eighth, Tzvika Wishingrad ninth, Itam Tam tenth, and Natan Zaubman eleventh. After the results were published, Smotrich expressed confidence that the chosen candidates, along with additional figures like Tzvika Mor who will soon join, will lead the party to victory in the upcoming elections.
Party CEO Yehuda Wald congratulated the candidates and emphasized the strength of their democratic process, stating that together they will continue to lead and influence for the people of Israel, the Torah of Israel, and the Land of Israel.
