Religious Zionism Party Finalizes Knesset List After Deal With Feiglin's Zehut
The Religious Zionism party has finalized its list of candidates for the upcoming 26th Knesset elections, following an agreement with Moshe Feiglin's Zehut party. The updated slate integrates the party's current leadership and Knesset members with prominent reserved spots allocated as part of the merger with Zehut. The list also includes public activists and figures who have gained prominence since the outbreak of the war.
Leading the list is current party chairman and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich. Moshe Feiglin, chairman of Zehut, is also included, alongside incumbent ministers Orit Strock (Settlement and National Missions) and MK Simcha Rothman (Constitution Committee chairman).
Other notable additions include Tzvi Mor, chairman of the 'Tikva Forum' and father of released captive Eitan Mor; Itamar Itam, a lieutenant colonel (res.), battalion commander wounded in Gaza and a founder of the 'Reservists Movement'; and MK Zvi Sukkot, chairman of the Education Committee.
The list also features Rabbi Yitzhak Zaga and another representative from the Zehut party, indicating their integration into the Religious Zionism slate. Reut Ben-Haim, founder of the 'Tzav 9' movement and an educator, is also listed, alongside MK Ohad Tal.
