Feiglin Predicts 5 Knesset Seats for United Religious Zionist List

Moshe Feiglin, chairman of the Zehut party, discussed his party's tactical alliance with Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich's Religious Zionism party in the upcoming elections. Speaking on the radio program 'Seven to Nine' on 103fm, Feiglin adopted a conciliatory tone regarding past harsh remarks Smotrich made about him, stating, "I think what you don't understand is that you can also forgive. We are in the month of mercy and forgiveness. That I truly forgive is not just lip service." Feiglin explained that he understands the pressures of political campaigns that may have led to such statements, adding, "I have experienced it and I can understand how a person gets there. I forgot about it, you are reminding me now."

Feiglin emphasized that the alliance is purely a technical bloc, not a full ideological union. "We are running as a technical bloc," he clarified. "We are a completely separate party from the Religious Zionism party, we appreciate them, but we will run a separate campaign and operate separately afterward. After the elections, everyone goes their own way, unequivocally."

Looking ahead to the election results, Feiglin expressed high expectations for the joint list. "I believe we are going to bring 5 Knesset members in the upcoming elections," he declared confidently. He further committed to the united list's performance, stating, "The connection with Smotrich will bring a double-digit number of mandates, read my lips."
